You are interested in nitrox (enriched air) or trimix ? Eleuthera Plongee is the first Tech diving centre in French Polynesia and proposes you a choice of courses from the open water.
Nitrox requires a specific equipment
NITROX (ENRICHED AIR) DIVER
Diving with enriched air (rate of oxygen higher than in the air) or nitrox enables you to decrease the quantity nitrogen that you breathe. That increases your safety and your comfort in particular by attenuating tiredness after the diving. That also allow you to increase your pleasure by offering to you a larger no decompression time than with air.
This course needs 2 dives and theory. It will allow you to use nitrox up to 40 % of oxygen. It can be held over one day. It is accessible to open water divers and higher, 15 years old minimum.
This course is available 7/7 on special booking at 20 000 F (168 Euro) and include 2 dives with rental of specific nitrox equipment, insurance, theory, your nitrox manual and the PADI certification cost.
ADVANCED NITROX DIVER
The use of nitrox containing more than 40 % of oxygen allow you decrease decompression time. By associating different kind of nitrox you will access to dives of long duration on the area of 30/40 meters (100/130 feet) with a reduced decompression time.
This course needs 4 dives and theory. It will improve your knowledge in tech diving. You will learn how to use the methods of planning and the equipment which make the safety and the success of the tech diving. It is accessible to advanced open water diver or higher, 16 years old minimum and nitrox diver certified.
This course is available 7/7 on special booking and only by group of 2 divers (if you are alone, we can register you with another person in your case). She is proposed to you at the prices of 45 000 F (377 Euro) and include 4 dives with rental of specific nitrox equipment, insurance ,theory , the IANTD adv nitrox manual and IANTD certification cost.

NORMOXIC TRIMIX DIVER
Trimix divers at decompression stop
Diving with trimix allows greater depth without nitrogen narcosis. We replace a part of nitrogen from the air by helium which have no toxic effect on the body. With trimix, you can dive at depth of 50/60 meters (170/200 feet) in total safety on the beautiful deep diving spots in Tahiti. The use of nitrox with very high rate of oxygen for decompression make it possible to enjoy longer dive time in the respect of safety and without increasing decompression stops.
This course needs 5 dives and theory. It will allow you to use trimix containing 20 % of oxygen, brething from the surface (normoxic trimix). You will learn how to plan deep diving with several mix according to standards of the tech diving. It is accessible to Rescue diver 18 years old minimum, with more than 100 logged dives and advanced nitrox diver certified.
This course is available 7/7 during 5 days on special booking and only by group of 2 divers (if you are alone, we can register you with another person in your case). The price is 100 000 F (838 Euro)) and include 5 dives with rental of specific nitrox and trimix equipment, insurance ,theory and IANTD certification cost.
